2022 NBA Teams Logos
Thirty NBA teams are competing in the 2021-2022 season. The teams are spread across 21 states in the United States and Canada. Some states have more than one NBA sports team, like California, Texas, Florida, and New York.
Atlanta Hawks
Using the bird hawk for the team’s name only fits if the logo also uses a bird graphic. The logo uses a two-dimensional red circle. Near the circle’s outline, there is a thin white line around.
There are also ‘ATLANTA HAWKS’ and ‘BASKETBALL’ white-colored Serif words written on the top and bottom. Lastly, a graphic of a hawk head with red lines facing right in the middle.
Boston Celtics
Boston Celtics are among the two most successful sports teams in the NBA, alongside the Los Angeles Lakers, with 17 championship titles. However, at the time of writing, the team is playing the 2021-2022 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors so that the team can add one more title to its resume.
The logo of this team is an iconic Celtic man standing in the middle of a green ring with a white Sans Serif styled ‘BOSTON’ and ‘CELTICS’ on both sides. The Celtic man wears a unique costume while smoking and spinning a basketball.
Brooklyn Nets
The team was previously called the New Jersey Nets, and after it became the Brooklyn Nets in 2012, the logo has not changed. The logo is a black shield with a white basketball with a black ‘B’ and a Sans Serif white-colored ‘NETS’ above the ball. Below the shield, a black Sans Serif’ BROOKLYN’ is written.
Charlotte Hornets
The logo of the Charlotte Hornets is a dark purple and teal-colored hornet facing forward. The white-colored team name is in the middle of the hornet, and there is a basketball pattern above the hornet’s sting.

The Cleveland Cavaliers updated its logo one year after the team won its maiden championship in 2016, led by the NBA great LeBron James. The logo is a black shield with gold and maroon lines around it. A sword and a maroon specifically designed ‘C’ are in the middle of the shield, with the white team name above the letter.
Dallas Mavericks
The logo of the Dallas Mavericks is a grey shield with a blue basketball on the middle top of the shield. A head of a horse is on the ball combined with a crescent moon. There is the words’ DALLAS’ above and designed ‘MAVERICKS’ below the ball and a white star at the bottom of the shield.
Denver Nuggets
The NBA team from the mile-high city, the Denver Nuggets, has a navy blue circle logo as its base. There are gold and maroon lines around the circle, and the white team name is written around the inside part of the maroon line. Two yellow stars separate the words ‘DENVER’ and ‘NUGGETS.’
Another maroon line creates a new inside circle for the remaining logo details. There is two gold pickaxe crossing each other. There is a white and gold mountain peak above and a white and gold basketball below.

Being in the motor city of Detroit, it was a genius idea to use a mechanical part, a piston, for the city’s NBA team, the Detroit Pistons. The team logo is a red basketball with white patterns and the team name in the middle. It is completed with a blue ring around the ball and a grey line outside the ring.
Golden State Warriors
Golden State is the nickname of the State of California. Although the Golden State Warriors’ hometown is in the San Francisco Bay Area, the sports team’s name represents the entire state. It is also one of the best NBA teams in this modern era.
The team pillared by the trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green has the logo with a blue circle as its base. There is a silhouette of the gold-colored Golden Gate Bridge on that base, an iconic bridge in the state. Houston Rockets

The Minnesota Timberwolves logo is a howling grey and dark blue wolf with a green eye and nose. The background is a dark blue basketball with a dark blue ring with a grey outline and the white written team name. There is also a green star above the wolf’s eye.
New Orleans Pelicans
The logo of the New Orleans Pelicans is the white ‘NEW ORLEANS’ above a brown and navy blue pelican with a red beak and eyes carrying a brown basketball.
